Works to renovate and extend our project house complete after 4.5 months

Mason Carey project house reaches practical completion

The Mason Carey project house has reached practical completion this week after a construction period of 4.5 months. The property originally was acquired by Mason Carey as a three bedroom detached house, with a very aged and weakened structure and a charming pink exterior covering.

Within the previous 6 months we undertook works to achieve a successful planning decision and manage the onsite works from start to completion which included all contractual works, payment certification, building regulation agreements, specification of works and site health and safety matters.

The works were hampered by the lock down period and varying delays associated to obtaining materials such as plaster and timber.

Mason Carey worked closely with the main contractor to ensure that specialist contractors were brought in at relevant programme dates and to ensure that the works were completed to a high standard throughout.

The final product is formed of a large and spacious four bedroom house, with modern open plan living facilities, large bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms and a stunning raised decking which overlooks the rear gardens.

This property is the first of a number of development properties in the pipeline for Mason Carey and we are proud to have worked with some great contractors to achieve the quality of building that we want to be known for creating.
