Katie undertakes works to ensure that the office runs seamlessly and provides essential support to the directors of the company. Katie comes from a legal background and has extensive experience and knowledge of business matters which provides Mason Carey with further skills to ensure our high quality services are continued throughout day-to-day activities.
Ben Carey MRICS BA(Hons) PG Dip
Managing Director
Ben is a chartered building surveyor with over 15 years’ experience working within the built environment and construction industry. Ben specialises in building surveying working with individual clients and advising large investment organisations, pension funds, commercial & retail agents in all aspects of building and defect analysis, project management and acquisition management. Ben has a reputation for providing a thorough and detailed service tailored to specific client needs.
Stephen Mason
Director
Stephen provides advice and his expertise to high net worth clients across a range of areas within the field of acquisitions, finance and development. Stephen has experience in UK and European markets and is well-known within London and Kent for his business expertise. Stephen is respected in the community for his philanthropic works having independently set-up and run hugely successful charities which to date provide much needed healthcare to local communities in conjunction with major corporate firms.
Daniel Curley
Head of Division - Plumbing and Heating / Project Manager
Daniel leads the Plumbing and Heating at Mason Carey and is responsible for all day-to-day activities of the division. Daniel has over 15 years experience in the field working as both an engineer and project manager of large and small residential and commercial works. Daniel is gas safe registered and a qualified project manager. He is a vital part of the Mason Carey team with exceptional client facing skills and a thorough knowledge of plumbing and heating systems new and old.
Architectural Consultant

Mason Carey offer the services of an in-house architectural consultant. Our highly skilled and extensively trained architectural consultant provides CAD based drawn works which aid our projects when applying for planning permissions and in works associated to scheme development.

Roy is a chartered building engineer and chartered construction manager with over 15 years’ experience working as a professional in the industry. Undertaking architectural design for planning submissions, building regulation approval and construction issue. Roy has a wide ranging portfolio of work including architectural design and building control. Working on both residential and commercial projects, Roy specialises in regulations with a specific interest and knowledge in the field of fire safety.

Finance and Accounting
Karen deals with the day-to-day accounts of Mason Carey and is the point of contact for client invoicing and financial queries, Karen has excellent experience having worked previously for a number of Tunbridge Wells based architects and commercial practices.
